Rosa Caballero is a founding partner of our firm. She is part of the Tax Law practice area. She is a specialist in Tax Law who graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela with an Honorable Mention in 2011, a Diploma in International Taxation from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 2019, and from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 2018. Her professional practice is mainly focused on the area of administrative and jurisdictional procedures, as well as consulting and local taxation.
In his professional practice, she worked as an Assistant Lawyer in the Mayor’s Office of the Municipality of Baruta and in the Directorate of Judicial Affairs of the Municipality of Chacao, both in the State of Miranda. Subsequently, he joined KPMG Escritorio Jurídico (2004-2011), where he held the positions of Senior Attorney, Supervising Attorney, and Manager of the Tax Department. She was part of the Firm LEĜA ABOGADOS, an organization in which she held the positions of Senior Lawyer and Junior Partner in the Tax Department.
In the academic and professional field, Rosa Caballero is a professor in the Specialization of Tax Law at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. She is also the author of several works of tax content published in national and international books, magazines, and collective works; she is also a regular lecturer on tax matters, both locally and abroad. Rosa Caballero has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Venezuelan Tax Law Association (AVDT) for the 2019-2021 term, and for the current term, from 2021 to 2023.
