Jesús Sol Gil is the Managing Partner and one of the Founding Partners of our firm, he is in charge of the Tax Law practice area. He has vast professional experience in the areas of tax consulting, tax planning, corporate restructuring, international taxation, and assistance in administrative and jurisdictional proceedings in tax matters. He was part of LEGA ABOGADOS, as a lead partner in the tax area of that Firm from 2012, until June 2021. He was also part of the professional team of KPMG Auditors and Consultants in Venezuela and was a founding partner of KPMG Escritorio Jurídico, a member firm of KPMG International in Venezuela to provide legal services, the organization in which he worked for 21 years until joining LEĜA ABOGADOS.

His professional trajectory includes working in the Legal Consultancy of Banco Unión and in the Audit Management of operations and legal obligations of Grupo Unión (1989- 1991). He was also part of the team of lawyers of the Finance Commission of the Senate Chamber of the extinct National Congress. In the academic and trade union field, Jesús Sol Gil, was president of the Latin American Institute of Tax Law (2006-2008), as well as of the Venezuelan Association of Tax Law (2011-2015) and was president of the Tax Committee of the Venezuelan American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Venamcham (2018-2020), and is an active member of the International Fiscal Associate (IFA).
